An amazing evening was had by all in attendance with some 120-plus people on the grand lawn of the Evola Estate in Grosse Pointe Shores.
Bentleys, Ferraris, P:orsche,, A McLaren P-1 and a host of Corvettes along with some awesome Aston Martins and Classics including a Mustang 350 KR! And MG classics. Cool cars, great food and an open bar!
DAC Car Club members were also treated with singing from Opera Singer Eva Evola and Michael Evola. The setting with a Thursday night sailboat race in Lake St. Cl,air across the street, the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and a lawn full of cars and cool people made for an outstanding Cars under the Stars Event!
The inaugural Cars under the Stars at the DAC Pavillion featured guest speaker McKeel Hagerty of Hagerty Insurance for classic and collectible cars. Out first annual speaker was Stellantis Chief Designer Ralph Gilles and the next year Edsel B. Ford II spoke with the club. Last year Bill and Melissa Kozyra hosted the Cars under the Stars at their phenomenal M-1 Collection!
Kudos to David and Eva Evola for an exciting evening. The night closed with Car Club Board member Lauren Mendelson receiving the first President’s Award from the Car Club for her outstanding service in 2025 helping organize the Galleria event at the Detroit Auto Show, SEMA garage tiour, Movie Night, and the Grand Prix and Indy500 events! Congratulations well deserved!
