Carlos Carmona

Carlos Carmona is a longtime executive at Combine International Inc. in Troy. Founded in 1970, Combine International is a private, minority owned, and operated business that manufactures and supplies fine jewelry to some of the world's largest retailers. The firm is an international leader in the manufacturing, merchandising, distribution, and marketing of jewelry, and one of the top 10 jewelry manufacturers in the United States. Mr. Carmona also manages distribution to its subsidiary, Little Switzerland, which owns and operates 38 luxury watch and jewelry stores in the Caribbean islands.
Past President of the Brother Rice Business Alliance, Mr. Carmona is a member of the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Beverly Hills, the Detroit Athletic Club, vice president of the DAC Car Club, the Porsche Club of America, and a board member of Woodward Original in Detroit. He is an owner of several award-winning National Porsche Concours cars, a collector of vintage guitars, and an avid equestrian. Mr. Carmona is a longtime supporter of the arts. From 1990 to 1996, he was a board member and chair of special events with the Founders Junior Council, a nonprofit organization that supports the Detroit Institute of Arts. He was also co-founder of Serious Moonlight, which supported various activities at the Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills from 1995 to 1999. In addition, he is a past board member of the Hispanic Business Alliance.
A resident of Oakland County, Mr. Carmona and his wife, Veronica, have a son, Julian, who is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an award-winning filmmaker.
