Andrew M. Strong
Member of the DAC since 2003, having been a guest of my father for years prior. At our club, I enjoy the friendly competition of bowling in the Thursday 5:30 league and attending the events with family and fellow members. In my own family, the Mother's Day and Holiday brunches, Father Daughter and Father Son events have become beloved traditions that bring us together year after year. Some other favorite DAC experiences of mine that have also created many wonderful memories are our well-attended Chuck Davey Boxing, Wine, Cigar and Pavilion gatherings.
Married and a father of 3, I reside in Northville. Professionally, I have served a select number of individuals and small business owners for over 30 years as a Wealth Management Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor associated with UBS Financial Services. My brother and I maintain a successful partnership with offices in Plymouth and Troy.
Cars and automotive design have been a great interest of mine since childhood. To me they represent individual freedom as well as the possibility of a spontaneous escape from the daily routine of obligations and responsibilities. The automobile: a fundamental American pastime. I have been fortunate enough to turn my passion for speed into a reality and now drive racetracks all over the Midwest and beyond, with a garage at the M1 Concourse as my home base. I am excited to serve on the board of the DAC, to help bring exclusive access and fun events to our membership. And above all, look forward to meet, share stories, and commiserate with other fans of the automobile.
