Bruce BaBiarz

President


Bruce A. Babiarz is a 17-year Resident Member of the DAC. He is president of BAB Associates, LLC, a Marketing, Public Relations, and Communications firm, providing a wide array of strategic planning, media relations, advertising, and business development services to clients in the automotive, real estate, construction, and professional service sectors. Bruce supported the Police and Fire Retirement System throughout the Detroit bankruptcy as its advisor on issues of public relations and negotiation posturing.

Bruce has held executive positions with Barton Malow, Ghafari Associates; as Bureau Chief with United Press International (Detroit & Chicago} and journalist with The Detroit News and WXYZ-TV.

PERSONAL:
Bruce and his wife of 17 years, Janet Poulik-Babiarz, M.D., Children's Hospital of Michigan, reside in Bloomfield Township.
