A picture perfect fall day greeted DAC Car Club and Automotive Hall of Fame drivers on a crisp but sunny morning Saturday (October 19) at the DAC in downtown Detroit. After coffee, donuts and a tour of some very cool cars from Corvettes, Ferrari to other exotics, the caravan headed off to the freeway to tour the Lingenfelt Collection in Brighton, where trees were ablaze in hues of purple, orange and yellow.
The DAC Car Club was one of several sponsors of the event that featured opening comments from Ken Lingenfelter prior to a Q and A with Grand Marshal Jeff Morrison of General Motors Corporation.
The fundraiser proceeds support the efforts of the Automotive Hall of Fame for its ongoing work. Participants enjoyed an amazing vehicle collection, strolling lunch, and a keynote presentation from AHF event Grand Marshal, General Motors SVP, Chief Procurement & Supply Chain Officer, Jeff Morrison. A number of attendees took advantage of the amazing apparel display and automotive memorabilia collection for sale at the Lingenfelter Collection and Ken signed posters with voluntary donations going to the Lingenfelter Foundation. A fun day for all!
