December 7 — The Lingenfelter Collection partnered with the Nortvhille Concours D-Elegance on December 7 to host the Marine’s Toys for Tots fundraiser at the Lingenfelter collection in Brighton.
Ken and Kristin Lingenfelter and David Kibbey, Chair of the Northville Consours show held the annual event to provide toys for needy children in the Metro area. As you might expect, many of the toy donations were remote control and model cars!
Bruce Babiarz of the DAC Car Club donated a white C-8 Corvette model and Ken Lingenfleter autographed it and some your person is going to have a collector car on Christmas Day!
Hiundreds of people turned out for the Holiday event to donate gifts, network and say hello to the Big Guy – Santa and Mrs. Claus were in attendance to greet all persons. Santa reportedly arrived in a Ferrari but the report is unconfirmed. Asked why he was sitting down on the job, he shot back: “Sitting down in a chair is a big part of my job description!” Merry Christmas to one and all.
Kudos to the Lingenfelters and David Kibbey for their hard work in organizing this magical holiday event. Cheers!
