]May 2022 – Join us for a rare tour of Edsel Ford’s Garage, where he keeps his private car collection, framed photographs, mementos, and other artifacts. Edsel will provide a tour of his cars, walk guests through his Wall of Fame, and relay his favorite memories of his motorsport’s history, including being present for four Le Mans championships by Ford. The event is extremely limited and open to the first DAC Car Club members who register (no guests). Additional updates will be sent to participants emails.

About 25 DAC Car Club members were welcomed by Edsel Ford II to his private collections on Wednesday, May 11 for walking tour. Mr. Ford regaled the group with stories about this cars, their special personal meaning to him and he told stories about traveling with his “father” and Henry Ford II. A very rare and well received venue. Mr. Ford allowed guests to also tour his walls of fame photos with decades of memorabilia and photos of automotive racing events over the past half-century. Given his desire for privacy and self-effacing humor, Mr. Ford told the DAC Car Club, “Remember, you were never here!”
On behalf of the Board of Directors, The DAC Car Club President Bruce Babiarz and Event Chair R. J. King presented Mr. Ford with a crystal trophy proclaiming him an Honorary Lifetime Member of the DAC Car Club.
