Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019 – Private Preview Showing the day before the Nov. 15 national release of the movie Ford V. Ferrari. The DAC Car Club held an exclusive pre-screening of the new movie, “Ford v Ferrari,” on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Emagine Theatre at the Palladium in downtown Birmingham. The program was sold out. Given Disney Studio advance screening rules, there was late notice on the preview event, we apologize to those on the waiting list and pledge to do better on our next event to accommodate all DAC Car Club members. The film tells the story of how famed auto designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and British race car driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) developed the revolutionary GT40 for Ford Motor Co. to compete against the racecars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.
