Some 50 DAC Car Club members and lucky guests had the opportunity to see the restoration of several rare 50’s and 60’s Porsche cars!
Car Club Member Paul Van Tol generously shared his collection and spoke to members about the acquisition and restoration of these beautiful cars. Paul spent years, actually learning metalurgy to bring these beauties back from rusted hulks.
Paul also showed off a Karman Ghia he restored as a “practice restoration” for his daughter while we honed his skills in restoring the Porsches.
Attendees also enjoyed custom ordered tacos and food from Whiskey Taco Foxtrot of Clawson. Many attendees drove their Porsches and other awesome sports cars. A rare day and great event for the DAC Car Club. We thank Paul and his family for sharing their passion for Porsche!
