Stellantis Car Collection Tour April 29

Many thanks to Stellantis and Chief Designer Ralph Gilles for arranging to the DAC Car Club to tour the impressive collection of Chrysler, Jeep, Mopar, Plymouth vehicles and historic memorabilia on Saturday, April 28.
Some 65 DAC Car Club members were greeted by DAC CC V.P. Carlos Carmona and several board member who were provided unfettered access to the collection of some 170 vehicles currently on display and an amazing array of historical artifacts from posters (one said: “Horsepower mean victory in war) and photos of automotive legends including Walter Chrysler.
World War II Jeeps, military vehicles, Woody cars and wagons from the 1940s and 50’s. Plymouth Racers, Vipers galore, classic cars including the Aeroflow and concept cars that look like they could be 2024 models on the road!

The rare tour, only the fourth since the pandemic, was enjoyed by all. A good number of Car Club members shared a delicious buffet back on the 7th floor of the DAC after the tour and continued the comraderie and shared stories of their favorite car and passion for all things automotive! –Bruce Babiarz
