The Detroit Athletic Club Car Club was pleased to be a sponsor of the third annual Northville Concours D’Elegance July 14 in the quaint village of Northville.

The auto show honored Ken and Kristen Lingenfelter of the famed Lingenfelter Collection – one of the largest private car collections in the United States as “collectors of the year.”

Ken, a DAC Car Club Board Member, was greeted by numerous Board members, DAC members and hundreds of attendess from the metro area and out of state for the Concours event. Nearly 100 vehicles from classic Packards and collectibles to exotics like Ferraris and Lamborghinis will join pre and post-war classics and American Muscle cars for this year’s display located in historic Northville downtown district on Sunday July 14. Some 2,500 people are expected to attend what is now the only Concours in Michigan since the Detroit Concours was placed on hiatus for 2024.

David Kibbey, Chair of the Northville Concours D’Elegance  introduced Ken and Kristen Lingenfelter, operators of the famed Lingenfelter Collection in Brighton, Michigan. The leadership team members of the Northville Concours also includes Chase Ziegler and Drew Lehnert. These young men graduated from high school last month and are headed to institutions of higher learning this fall.
